Thank you to CCP and the Forum for inviting me to be part of this discussion. I'm Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson. I'm the U.S. Business Editor of the Financial Times. And I will not discuss which COVID vaccine I got, but I'm also at the FT, which is without fear or favor, so I'll try not to let it affect my questioning.

I will say though that I'm delighted to have this opportunity to introduce an executive who's had an outsized influence on the lives of many of us in recent months. Stephane Bancel is CEO of Moderna, and he's living proof that good things can come out of Davos because it was at the World Economic Forum early last year in January that he realized the world could be on the brink of its worse pandemic for 100 years.
