Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Karen Short, and I'm the staples and hard-line retail analyst at Barclays. Today, we're very pleased to welcome Dollar General to the Barclays Staples Conference. We hope this is the first of many appearances. With close to $30 billion in sales and more than 6% unit growth, Dollar General is definitely a disrupter in the U.S. consumable space, given the formats, broad appeal, relevance and price points. Some of you even heard me say this before, but consumers want to feel smart, not cheap, and Dollar General is in the sweet spot of that trend.

With us from Dollar General, we're pleased to welcome Todd Vasos, CEO of Dollar General since 2015, and prior to being named CEO, was COO from 2013 to 2015. Todd originally joined Dollar General in 2008.
