Welcome to our Annual Meeting of Stockholders of Pioneer Bancorp, Inc. My name is Tom Amell, President and CEO of Pioneer Bancorp, and I'll be the Chairman of this meeting. Due to our continued public health concerns regarding COVID, we're conducting our meeting online once again. So, we appreciate your understanding and accommodation, so we can keep everybody safe.
Before we begin with the formalities of the annual meeting, I would just like to take a few minutes to highlight some of our accomplishments in 2021 and set the stage for what looks like to be a very promising and positive year for us in 2022 and beyond.
As I mentioned in this year's letter to the shareholders, 2021 was like no other year that has -- that we've been forced to deal with all the implications and changes that COVID has presented to us. But on top of that, the banking industry has been operating under historically low from -- a rate environment compressing our margins to historical lows.
