Good afternoon, everyone. Thank you for coming. I am Stacy Rasgon. I cover the U.S. semiconductor space here at Bernstein. It's my great honor to introduce our guest today, the President and CEO of Applied Materials, AMAT, Mr. Gary Dickerson.

So semicap industry has been enjoying bit of a renaissance over the last several years. Even given some of the current kind of cyclical weakness we're seeing in memory, total wafer fab spend is well above prior peaks that were seen decades ago. We've had changes in the technology. We've had this sort of much-anticipated end of Moore's Law supposedly but far from reducing the need for customers to spend on equipment, seems to, in fact, made the contributions from companies like Applied Materials more important than ever as materials-driven innovation moves to the forefront of process technology development.
