The successful candidate is expected to join our development team to work on the development of GuruFocus.com and other related websites.

Requirements:

• Production experience with JavaScript based single page applications and frameworks (Vue, React, Angular)
• Solid modern JavaScript experience
• Ability to match design direction with markup and styling languages (HTML, CSS, SCSS)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience working closely with back-end developers and an understanding of how to best manage interfacing with APIs
• Experience with source-control practices such as Git

Good to have:

• Experience in mobile app developing ( either hybrid or native)
• Experience in server side development (PHP, Golang,Node)
• Knowledge in UI/UX design

Client Service Analyst - Stock Research

GuruFocus is currently seeking exceptional candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, and solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles in our Plano office, supporting the Client Services team.

Duties & responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive first class service including but not limited to identifying and resolving client issues, conducting client demos, training clients on GuruFocus platform, and managing additional client inquiries/needs as required.
• Actively speak with customers to ensure they understand how to use the functionality of GuruFocus research platform, including stock screeners, financial data, interactive charts, and Excel Add-ins.
• Increase client adoption of the platform through education of product features and offering, ultimately driving efficiency and cost reduction for clients
• Provide front line daily support for all clients including capture of bugs and enhancements.
• Work with business partners to validate the integrity of data and documents loaded on the platform
• Become highly skilled in GuruFocus tools and data such as stock screeners, financial data, interactive charts, and Excel Add-ins.

Education and experience

• Experience in customer service and financial data operations
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or economics
• Solid understanding of financial statements and valuation methods of public companies.
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred

Commercial awareness

• Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively with priority clients and sales prospects
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

GuruFocus is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to start a new program interviewing business owners and entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

• Interview entrepreneurs and business owners, transcribe the interview audio and publish the contents in the formats of audio, video and text.
• Write about these business people and their businesses.
• Make videos and audio recordings based on the interviews and publish them online.
• Find business owners, contact them and arrange interviews.
• Promote stories through social media sites and attract more readership to the contents.

Qualifications
