Kakaku.com, Inc. (TSE:2371, Financial) is a website provider in Japan. It has generated the lion's share of income from its mainstay, a product and service price comparison site. After years of incubating new sites, the company began to monetize its promising restaurant review and reservation site in 2013. Kakaku's share price more than tripled by third quarter year-to-date, but then tapered off somewhat in the fourth quarter. We expect revenue and cash contribution from the new site will eventually match the revenue and cash generated by the price-comparison site. (Kyuhey August)
