Good afternoon, and welcome to our call on first half 2020 results of Banca IFIS.
Today, the Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Mr. Ernesto Fürstenberg approved the first half results and the updated guidance for 2020.
In the first 6 months of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the worst crises in recent decades, Banca IFIS was profitable and reported a significant increase of its CET1. Net income came in at EUR 37 million, having recorded a EUR 36 million pretax provisions and write-offs due to the COVID-19.
