Today, we are joined by Filippo Milano, a physician and scientist, whose research is focused on the use of umbilical cord blood as a source of stem cells for transplantation to treat various blood cancers. He is an associate professor in the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and also a Director on the Cord Blood Transplant Program in the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch.
