Welcome to our conference call to review the past year. The presentation is structured in a very similar way as in previous years. I will recapitulate the trends and developments we have seen in 2023 in terms of growth, claims events, and capital markets. All this information has already been communicated before.
In 2023, we have implemented the new accounting standards of IFRS 17 and 9. Understanding and forecasting Helvetia's numbers under the new rules without a long track record to compare is challenging. Therefore, we have included some additional information on IFRS 17-specific topics in the presentation.
As discussed before, we will disclose a new KPI of underlying earnings with the full-year results. This will give you a better view on the underlying operational development of Helvetia.
