Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I'm the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. And according to our Articles of Association, it is my duty to chair this meeting. I hereby open the annual Shareholders' Meeting of Continental AG, and I welcome you all, our shareholders and shareholder representatives, most cordially. My welcome also goes to the media representatives and any other interested viewers who are following our Annual Shareholders Meeting.
Today, I'm speaking to you from the [Herrenhausen] meeting room at the company's headquarters in Hanover. As in previous years, I would have liked to personally welcome you in the [Dorm Hall] at Hanover Congress Centrum. However, seeing that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and protection measures are still needed, this, unfortunately, is not possible this year around.
