Ouster%2C+Inc. (NYSE: OUST) (“Ouster” or the “Company”), a leading provider of high-performance lidar sensors for the automotive, industrial, robotics, and smart infrastructure industries, announced today that it has filed a patent infringement complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) against Hesai Group (Nasdaq: HSAI) based in Shanghai, China, and related entities, requesting that the Commission institute an investigation under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930. Ouster also filed a patent infringement complaint against Hesai in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, seeking an injunction and monetary damages.
