Plaintree Systems Inc. Reconfirms Delay in Filing its Financial Statements and MD&A for the Year Ended March 31, 2020 and the First Quarter of 2020 Due to COVID-19 Related-delays

ARNPRIOR, ON / ACCESSWIRE / August 27, 2020 / Plaintree Systems Inc. (CSE:NPT) ("Plaintree" or the "Company"), further to its July 29, 2020 news release, is continuing to rely on temporary relief granted by Canadian securities regulators, allowing reporting issuers to extend certain continuous disclosure filing deadlines by 45 days and reconfirms the delay in the filing of its financial statements and management's discussion and analysis ("MD&A") for the year ended March 31, 2020 ("Annual Filing"), and for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020 ("Interim Filing"), due to logistics and delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This news release is being issued pursuant to the temporary relief of a 45-day extension provided by the Canadian Securities Administrators and Ontario Instrument 51-505 - Temporary Exemption from Certain Corporate Finance Requirements with Deadlines during the Period from June 2, to August 31, 2020.
