How do you not love his investing philosophy which he breaks down as being:

- Invest for the long term

- Invest in businesses with big growth opportunities

- Invest in businesses with competitive advantages which make it difficult for other people to do what they are doing

- Invest with good management teams

The average holding period for the stocks currently in Baron's portfolio is six or seven years. Now that is a refreshing change!
