No doubt you will remember that last year, Lonza stopped reporting its quarterly results. This decision was taken for strategic reasons. Quarterly one-off effects can cause significant distortions to the quarterly comparison, and this can lead to mistaken business trend conclusions. However, in Q1 2020, we find that we are living in exceptional times, and we felt it was the right moment to reinstate our quarterly update for this quarter only.
